Volunteer

Dear Parents/Guardians;

During the school year there are many opportunities for parents/guardians to become involved in the education of their children.  There are many advantages for our children when parents/guardians are involved and a part of their child’s education. 

As a school community, we appreciate the involvement that our parents/guardians have in our school.  The students at École Catholique Louis Riel benefit greatly from the many volunteer hours that families contribute to the school.  Volunteers in the past have participated in a variety of activities including but not limited to: attending celebrations, Christmas Concerts, parent/teacher interviews, special performances and events, participation in School Council, Carnival, ski trips, skating, swimming, hot lunches, field trips, Shrove Tuesday, and organizing and supporting fundraisers.

We would like to encourage all parents/guardians to volunteer as much as they are able. If you are able to volunteer one evening, a couple of hours, or on a regular basis that would be great.  Or, if for any reason, you do not feel able to volunteer this year, we can appreciate that as well.
